This privacy policy applies to the DriveSmart NJ app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by Xavier Vincent (collectively, the "Application"). Xavier Vincent is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider".
Information Collection and UseThe Application collects the following information when you create an account or use the Application:
These are collected when you sign in using Google. The Application also collects the content of messages you send to the AI Tutor feature, which are processed to generate responses. This data is retained and used as described in this privacy policy.
Artificial IntelligenceThe Application uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to power the AI Tutor feature. Messages you send to the AI Tutor are transmitted to our backend server, hosted on Render, which forwards them to OpenAI's API for processing and response generation. The backend server temporarily processes a device-linked user identifier to enforce daily usage limits, but does not store your messages or conversation history. Only your device keeps a full copy of your AI Tutor conversations. This processing is performed in accordance with this privacy policy and applicable laws. OpenAI's privacy policy is available at https://openai.com/privacy. Render's privacy policy is available at https://render.com/privacy. If you have questions about the AI features or data processing, please contact the Service Provider.
